Hi I have to pre-order questions:
1. Is it posible to modify the height of the top slider? I dont want it to be so big like in the demo.
2. Is it posible to hide the Featured Image inside posts? Is the option enabled in the theme customization or do I need a special CSS to do this?
Thanks!
dianatrujillo
also does the theme have a Categories widget? different from the standard wordpress widget? Thanks
dianatrujillo
I also encountered an issue with menu dropdowns when using mobile devices, is only possible to click on the main category, not on any subcategories while using touch screen devices… Is this going to be fixed?
dianatrujillo
This issue with the menu, only occurs when browsing the theme on an iPad or tablet while in landscape mode, if I rotate the device to portrait mode the mobile menu appears and it is ok. Is there any way to force the mobile menu to appear on iPads while in landscape mode?
Thanks.
LucidThemes Author
Hi,
1. You can set the height of the slideshow to what you prefer.
2. You have the option to hide featured within each blog post.
3. Categories widget – in the demo you will see a custom latest posts widget. You can select a category of posts to show within this widget.
4. Issue with mega menu – I’ve tested this and can’t replicate the issue myself. I did notice that the icon to open the sub menus has quite a small area to hit on iPad though. That is something I’m going to change, but if those drop down icons don’t work for you at all, send me a support request and I can help sort that issue out.

Pre-sale question: what about author page layout? I don’t see any example, is that kind of page similar to the category/tag listing?
LucidThemes Author
Hi, not too sure what you mean by author page. Do you mean an about page? If so, there is an about page in the demo.

Hi there
I have a couple of pre-sale questions:
1 – Is the logo only possible in the centre of the page? Are there options for left and right?
2 – Can you move the text box (with description) on the homepage large slider or full width to another location or are they always centralised?
3 – Is it possible to choose the posts that appear in the sideBAR? I know it’s latest posts, but they repeat whats in the main body, so is there a widget or way to pick others? This is more a question for if you’ve just started a blog and you don’t have many posts.
Thanks RiA
LucidThemes Author
Hi,
1 – there is an option for position which includes both left and right.
2 – the content area in the slideshow can be positioned left, right, or centered.
3 – the latest posts widget in the sidebar is a custom widget. It does have the ability to select a specific category of posts to show, but not individual posts. You could create a new category for the sidebar widget only and then put posts you want to appear in that category. The widget also has an input field to limit how many posts are shown.

Hi, the theme works with the latest version of WordPress. The demo is running version 4.8.2.

Hello, My site www.thecarrotrevolution.com is set up to display 3 rows of 3 blog posts on each page. It works on the first page but on subsequent pages it adds one post on a 4th row? How can I fix this? Thank you.
LucidThemes Author
Hi,
The reason for that would be the setting to choose how many blog posts are shown on the listing page. That can be found under settings > reading, and the option is “Blog pages show at most”. It looks like you have that set to the default of 10. The first page has 1 large post and the rest in the grid of 3. However, the second page doesn’t have the first large item so it shows the 3 rows of 3 and the extra item on a new row.
The fix is to adjust the blog pages show at most value in the settings page until it looks how you want.
You could also change the post list layout to a 3 row grid and then change the number of posts to show to 9.

Thank you, does that mean there is not a way to make the first page show 10 post (the large one at the top and 3 subsequent rows of 3) and subsequent pages 3 rows of 3?
LucidThemes Author
Correct, you can’t specify different amounts of posts to show on different listing pages. That option sets the number of blog posts to show on all listing pages.

Hi LucidThemes! Will this theme get more updates in the future? Or should i get your theme “Grace” instead?
LucidThemes Author
Hi, the theme will get updated when required, for things like bug fixes.

This theme does not support password-protected pages. Pages with password protection are displayed without a form. How can this be solved later?
LucidThemes Author
Hi, a snippet of code can be added for password protected pages. If you send me a support message, I can send you the code.

Is there a way to expand the logo space for the mobile logo? The shape of the logo requires more height when mobile. Thank you!
LucidThemes Author
Hi, could you send me a support message with a link to your site.
