Hello, the top section of your winery demo homepage – the mountains background image, the clouds, title etc. Of course I can see at the backend what blocks you are using but nevertheless I can’t reproduce it for a new page. Could you please provide a step by step instruction? Thank you! J

Ok, did you try setting text color for kinetic wrapper (lets say red) or container row or text color for a column inside the row?

Those options should override heading colors too.

DdMMuc

I am stunned. I didn’t know that. At least this worked. Thank you!

Kiokentheme Author

Awesome!!

Oh and new version of Kioken Blocks and theme is coming early the following week.

Thanks

DdMMuc

How likely is it that you support und update your theme for the next years? I think you did a fantastic job but I am worried that you won’t support it very long. Regards

No, no, it was just a question in general. It would be very sad if I use this theme and after several months I have to change again because there are no updates any more for this theme.

Kiokentheme Author

Oh no we don’t abandon products Besides this theme is made for Gutenberg and it has so much more to come as time as time goes by

Kiokentheme Author

Hi! There’s an update in the theme.

After the update in case you update the Kioken Blocks plugin from the WordPress plugin repository too, it’s the free version and has limited functionality.

Plugin bundled with this theme has pro version of Kioken Blocks. For that, please remove Kioken Blocks plugin and reinstall the latest from “Appearance -> Install Plugins” list.

Thanks!

Hi, in your demo theme “Restinn” on the page “Menu” there is some kinde of submenu or tab function (Starters, Salad, Mains, Desserts). Could you please tell me how this works? How can I implement it? Thanks.

Kiokentheme Author

Hi,

Let me try and see if I can export those tabs for you(will also explain how you can import that block as well).

Will get back soon.

Kiokentheme Author

Ok so what I did is convert that tabbed menu into a reusable block and you can download it from here:

https://filebin.net/se6cadqrbybup31c

After downloading, you would need to go through your WordPress admin for importing blocks:

http://yoursite/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wp_block

And import the provided json file. After that, you can access that block called “Tabbed Menu” from your block list in the editor.

Please keep in mind the tabs are wrapped in a Kinetic Wrapper and it has a negative top margin. You might need to adjust how far up it needs to be by changing the negative margin value.

DdMMuc

In your main demo the logo in top header is centered between some menu links on the left and on the right. If I try it all menu links are placed on the left. What do I have to do that it is like in your demo? Thanks.

Kiokentheme Author

Hi!

You just need to assign menus to Primary(left site) and Secondary(right side) menu areas and that will do

Thanks! Onur.

DdMMuc

Great, thanks!

Hello, sorry, it is me again, but I am getting impatient. I really like your theme and I want to use it for two websites (the second purchase will follow if…).

BUT: 1. I wanted to register at your support forum with my purchase code, it didn’t work, my purchase code was refused.

2. I like your concept of integrating your blocks into the Gutenberg editor that’s one reason I bought your theme. But nothing is self-explanatory and the documentation is irritating. Examples:

2.1 The animated wrappers are even set up differently in your demo themes (see other comment). I couldn’t reproduce it by myself. There is no step-by-step documentation. 2.2 Bust function: There is some kind of “documentation”, see https://support.kiokentheme.com/docs/kioken-blocks/blocks/container-row/bust-out/. Still, it doesn’t work. Please see screenshots of what I get (screen-bust1 and screen-bust2). 2.3. Overlapping columns; There is a blog post, see https://kiokengutenberg.com/container-row-block-mastering-advanced-layouts-part-1/. I tried to reproduce it. What I got you can see at screen-overlapping1. I wanted to do something like screen-obverlapping2. Text block: I change the background color to white. The text was automatically moved to the right a little bit, like padding. As I already mentioned the title block has no fields to change background color so the title text kept its position as you can see in the screenshot. Also I have a gap between the title and the text block.

Here is the link to the screenshots: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/abe444df271276bf64a16905c16e8f3f20190802090257/8825e1f68a6ad0e6fc1a7975abadbafb20190802090257/eccb49

PLEASE: Give me a step-by-step instruction how to solve it, how to set up overlaps and busts!

Thank you.

Kiokentheme Author

Hi,

You’re right, the complex layout building at first with Gutenberg and Kioken Blocks feels overwhelming but it takes some time getting used to

I will start from creating bust out layouts with container row. It has some rules:

1- It only works with 2 columns and nothing else (won’t work with 1, 3 or more columns).

2- The container row needs to be center or wide aligned (won’t work with full width aligned container rows – also when the container row is wide aligned, the bust out is not reflected in the editor but works on the front end).

3- Container row can not have custom maximum width set in “structural settings” of the block options.

Now to create a bust out, you only need to following:

1- create a container row with 2 columns and keep the container row center or wide aligned.

2- In container row settings, head to “Spacings” options for the container row and select Bust Out left or right.

https://cl.ly/01128d78f58c (in my example I’ve also added padding and background color for each column)

That’s it. Let me know if you’re through this and then we can continue to next step.

We’re planning on switching to ticky for support, but until then you can also direct contact me at my email onuro{at}me.com or through our profile page for faster communication.

DdMMuc

I just sent you an email.

DdMMuc

Unfortunately I don’t get any answer anymore. What about the update? Will it include solution for sticky header, page title etc.? I would aprreciate your answer. Thanks.

DdMMuc

At the end very disappointing. First the support was great. Since weeks no answer anymore. Not very help- and trustful, especially when you choose the theme for your customer.

Can I personalise products category in shop side bar and manage products per row? And witch plug-in is compatible for multi language ? (if possible a free one)

Kiokentheme Author

Hi, the theme fully supports WooCommerce and yes you can set how many products to show per row and page, also modify the sidebar WooCommerce widgets.

And WooCommerce is available in many languages.

Thanks!

Sir did you use reactjs in making this theme?? If yes, can you let me know more about how to convert a reactjs theme to wordpress like this?

Kiokentheme Author

Hi, We did not use any headless approach to this theme but anything usual BUT with Gutenberg approach.

What we did for live loading was Barba.JS
