Hi there,
I recently purchased the theme, and I love it so far! I am trying to recreate a blog page similar to your example here: http://demo.lollum.com/crazydiamond/blog/ Please let me know how I would go about achieving this as, I know that when using a sidebar layout you can’t use the drag and drop feature.
Thanks!
lollum Author
Hi,
Just create some posts and then create a new page (“blog” for example) and set it in Settings > Reading > Posts Page. The blog page uses the “Main Sidebar”. So you can drag your preferred widgets in that area in Appearance > Widgets.

Hi there, another question. Is it possible to only show a summary of a blog post on a blog lists page, and then the full blog post on the posts page?
lollum Author
Hi,
Yes, use the read more tag: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/view-all/

Hello, i need to know if is possible to link from a grid photo to a normal page. For example i want the grid photo go to one product-overviewsite. Or from grid projects photos to the respective project site.
Is that possible? Thank you for your support!
lollum Author
Hi,
No it’s not possible. But the column block accepts HTML and shortcodes, so you can put there your custom HTML code.

i am getting this error while installing the theme in wordpress “Warning: POST Content-Length of 31820663 bytes exceeds the limit of 8388608 bytes in Unknown on line 0”
lollum Author
Hi,
This is a server issue, you need to change your php.ini settings. It’s not something related to the theme. Check this thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-install-theme-14

asifnazir
would you install the theme on my local machine if i pay you to install?
lollum Author
Hi,
Nobody can install the theme on your local machine remotely. Or are you talking about your server?
Anyway just follow this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U_v1ShQT_U) and read the documentation.
Or you can use Envato Studio: https://studio.envato.com/explore/wordpress-installation
But you need a server.

Hi, I bought this theme a year ago and I’m re-installing it in local in order to make a new website. I have a problem I didn’t have the first time that I installed it: when I import crazydiamond_demodata.xml there are some documents that don’t get imported (it gives me a list of errors). And, the worst part: when I go to Appearence > Menus, the menus in the theme are not created and I can’t add new ones. Does somebody know what’s going wrong? Thank you very much! Great theme, by the way!
lollum Author
Hi,
Seems an error related to your local environment considering that the XML data it’s the same since the first release. Also, the import feature is not part of the theme, it’s part of WordPress. What errors do you have exactly?
martamearin
It’s not exactly the same, as I updated the template to the new version. This is the list of errors I get when importing:

When I go to Menus after importing the file, there are no menus created. Do you know what’s the problem? Maybe it’s important to mention that I’m doing this in local. Thanks!
lollum Author
Hi,
The XML file it’s the same. I’ve never changed that file since the first release. It’s separated from the theme.
Seems that all the images where not imported (you can verify if they were imported in WP > Media). And probably the import was interrupted considering that you don’t have any menu.
By the way, the import is not part of the theme, you can use another theme and import the same XML. It doesn’t matter. When you have this type of errors is always a server issue (http://www.tjkelly.com/blog/wordpress-import-failed-how-to-fix-it/). In your case you’re running a local server but you can configure the environment like a real server. You probably need to increase the max_execution_time, memory_limit, post_max_size and upload_max_filesize. You can find a lot of threads about this problem in wordpress.org.
An alternative can be don’t check the “Download and import file attachments” checkbox during the import. But in this case you will not import the images.
PS. I suggest to reset the database before import the XML otherwise you will have duplicates. You can use this plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/).
PPS. Restart your local server if you change any of those settings mentioned above.

Can i use the WPML-plugin to translate the theme?

Hi,
Yes, but I don’t provide support for questions about WPML. You need to contact the plugin’s author directly if you have any issue.

how can i get the reviews section to show?
the default woo commerce reviews and your custom reviews section dont show up on the site..
http://jakke.co.uk/shop/lollum Author
Hi,
Please check these options:
- “Display ratings on the shop page” in Theme Options > WooCommerce
- WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Product Ratings
Also, check your comment settings (in Settings > Discussion). Reviews in WooCommerce are normal comments, so if you disable them you will disable the reviews as well.

The latest version of the theme seems to be causing problems with payment processing on WooCommerce. I think that it is related to WooCommerce’s shift to using endpoints, especially the ajax endpoint. I switched to the Twenty Sixteen theme and payments went through fine.

Hi,
For some reason I don’t see your purchase tag. Are you writing with another account? If yes, please write here with the buyer account.
Regarding the problem, please write here the URL of your website and please check if there is any error in the system status page of WooCommerce.

url is: http://www.awestruckdental.com. i actually think i might have it working. can you take a look? the only obvious issue that i’m having is that the cart dropdown is falling behind the home page slider and any of the pages with a header image (i think they are all revolution slider headers) with the update. i need to get the cart to show in front of these sliders. on pages that don’t have a header image (news, shop), the dropdown is fine. can you give me the proper css to adjust the z-index or whatever else i might need to do to remedy this? thanks.
lollum Author
Hi,
You’re not using the last version of the theme. You’re using the v.1.39. The last version is the v.1.48: http://changelogs.lollum.com/crazydiamond.html
Also, you’re using an old version of Revolution Slider (v.4.6.9). Update that plugin as well. You can find the last version in the theme package, “Last Version RevSlider” folder.

Hi,
The child theme override functions for info and footer-bottom work perfectly however menu and mobile menu don’t get overridden. In fact the only file that seem to do any changes to the header menu cart section is the crazydiamond / core / includes / woocommerce.php. Changes to crazydiamond / templates / header / menu.php also not showing up.
Am I doing anything wrong here?
function llm_submenu_info() { get_template_part( ‘header/info’ ); }
function llm_footer_bottom() { get_template_part( ‘footer/footer-bottom’ ); }
function llm_menu() { get_template_part( ‘header/menu’ ); }
function llm_mobile_menu() { get_template_part( ‘mobile-menu/menu’ ); }
Thanks in advance.
lollum Author
Hi,
It’s correct. You need to override the functions that load the template files. If you use this code in functions.php (of your child theme):
function llm_menu() { get_template_part( ‘header/menu’ ); }It means that you need to create a menu.php file in the yourchildtheme/header/ folder (the path will be yourchildtheme/header/menu.php).
If it works for the other files it must work also for the other ones. Just insert some text (or call a var_dump(‘test’); ) somewhere in those files to see if it appears.
To override a normal function instead, like the one in crazydiamond/core/includes/woocommerce.php you can copy it in your functions.php file (child theme) and delete the first line and the last line of the function. In other words, you need to remove the function_exists() check and the last bracket.
If you’re trying to modify the cart icon, please note that WooCommerce caches the HTML of that section. You need to clear the cache of your browser to see the result. Every time you make a modification (just close and then open a new incognito window of Chrome after the modification).

How did you check the add to cart with the default WP theme? From the product page or from the shop page? You need to test it from the shop page (airspencer dot com dot au slash shop).
Anyway, just checked the theme with WooCommerce 3.1.2 and I don’t have this issue. Do you have any error in the system status page (in WP > WooCommerce > Status)?
tchepourko
I’ve activated default theme, then yes went to shop page and hit Add to cart, was watching the console and no errors appeared.
Just checked the WooCommerce status page and no errors there all green…
Also noticed the WooCommerce Cart widget stopped working. With default theme works ok.
Much appreciate your help!

Hi, I am looking for the shortcode for the jobs page. Can any on help please. I would like to build a page that populates all current jobs.
lollum Author
Hi,
There’s a block in the page builder called “Job-List”. But if you’re looking for an archive of all your jobs, you can use the native WP archive job page. The URL is yourdomain.com/job.
For example: http://demo.lollum.com/crazydiamond/job/Best Regards

Hello, the password reset link that comes via email just takes you back to the “lost-password” page again. It is not going to the “reset password”. Is there a fix for this?
lollum Author
Hi,
Are you talking about the WooCommerce emails? The theme doesn’t include or modify the WooCommerce emails so this is not a theme issue. Are you modifying the emails yourself? In this case check your code, the issue should be there.
To modify a WooCommerce email you should create an “emails” folder in your-theme/woocommerce/ (for example crazydiamond/woocommerce/emails/)). If you have something there it means that you’re overriding the default markup of the WC emails. Again, Crazy diamond doesn’t do something like that so the problem is elsewhere.
Try to remove the emails folder from your theme (if any).
Best Regards
Shemtov1116
So the theme does not support a “my account” password reset? The issue arises when a customer puts their email in the “lost password” page (http://demo.lollum.com/crazydiamond/my-account/lost-password/).
The email gets received, but the link to reset the password takes the customer back to http://demo.lollum.com/crazydiamond/my-account/lost-password/?show-reset-form=true
It should be going to another a page where the customer can reset their password, but it does not.
lollum Author
Hi,
No, the theme supports the password reset. What I’m saying is that those functions are inside the WooCommerce emails files. The theme does not modify them. Again, check if you have the emails folder in your theme (in crazydiamond/woocommerce/emails). If yes, delete that folder. Check the same thing on your child theme (if any).
Deleting that folder you will use the default WC emails and you should solve the issue.

VERY IMPORTANT! DO NOT UPDATE THE THEME UNTIL WOOCOMMERCE 3.3 IS OUT! FOR SOME REASON WOOCOMMERCE 3.3 (RELEASED YESTERDAY – 2018/01/30) WAS REMOVED FROM WORDPRESS.ORG SOME MINUTES AGO (2018/01/31 SEE HERE). IF YOU HAVE ALREADY UPDATED THE THEME AND YOU ARE NOT USING WOOCOMMERCE 3.3, PLEASE GO BACK TO THE LAST WORKING VERSION OF THE THEME. The Woocommerce shortcode “add to cart” button is breaking the page refresh because you’re ajaxing it to the cart. Anyway to disable ajax for the add to cart?
lollum Author
Hi,
I don’t think that it not something related to the theme. The add to cart button is added by WooCommerce. And it is WooCommerce that uses AJAX, not the theme. Do you have the same problem with the default WP theme (Twenty Seventeen)?

Hi =) my support ended a few days ago but I was hoping to get a quick help with a translation issue.
I’m using WPML to have a multilingual website (3 languages) and everything goes well except that there is some inconsistent behaviour when trying to duplicate the page content before I translate it. The “page elements” of the page builder don’t get duplicated every time! Sometimes they duplicate and sometimes not, and sometimes they duplicate when I click the “synchronize with the main language” button and sometimes not.
I’m not sure what’s wrong, but I can’t find a pattern that consistently works as expected like with other page builders (like Visual Composer for example).
Please let me know if I need to do anything to have this working so that I don’t have to rebuild every page that I’m translating from scratch.
lollum Author
Hi,
Did you contact WPML? Because this seems something related to that plugin.
Anyway, when you’re in a translated page you can always click on the “Copy content from English” button (where “English” is the default image).
meero82
I already tried that button too and it gets all other page fields, but not the page elements of the page builder (which is the actual page content).
I didn’t contact WPML because duplicating the page content works fine with other page builders on other themes (like Visual Composer and Elementor), so it can’t be WPML’s problem.
lollum Author
Hi,
Yes it’s a WPML issue, because it’s WPML that duplicates the content. Not the theme. Also, probably other page builders work out of the box because they have a custom integration on their code for WPML. Lastly, my page builder it’s a meta box, not something attached to the content. So you’re right, my bad, that button will not copy the page builder from the other page (because it’s not the content). It’s a meta box. The content is empty.
Check this thread: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/metabox-fields-when-creating-translation/
The name of the meta box of the page builder is “page-xml-val”.
Best Regards
meero82
Ah ok, I saw this “page-xml-val” meta marked as “do not translate” and it was locked and said that it’s in the config file, so I didn’t want to play with it. I’ll try to override this option now and will get back to you.
meero82
Ok I changed page-xml-val to “translate” and everything works like a charm now =) thanks a lot for your help. Maybe you can add this as a note to the theme documentation.
