Hello, is there a front-end customer profile login demo of Bookly? All I see is a full demo showing admin type features, such as customer list, payments, messages, etc.. Can customers login to Bookly on the front-end and see/modify a date or time for items in the package they purchased? Or update their email & SMS settings?

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hi, thanks for the interest!

1) Currently, this feature is not supported. Customers can’t purchase packages.

2) Customer will be able to access their package if an administrator will “link” a package to him. Once the customer logs in to a page where the package shortcode was added, he’ll be able to create appointments that are included in the package.

3) Only administrators can update Email and SMS notifications settings.

Thanks!

i am trying to use the coupon functionality but i would like to restrict usage on specific weeks days i.e. Monday- Thursday. Is there anyway to do that?

In other words customers should only be able to use the coupon from Monday – Thursday

thanks

Hello,

This looks like a feature we haven’t implemented yet. However, we’re constantly working on improvements and value all feedback. You can leave your request here: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/200189331-Feature-Requests and if it gets enough votes, it might be implemented in the future release.

Package Booking -

After purchasing and installing this package, when going to the “Packages” submenu item in the admin panel – it is a mess. There is text all over the place, and the entire admin screen for that add-on is more-or-less unusable. The other menu items are correct when clicked, but for this particular item (package booking), it is simply not usable.

Additionally, we purchased the “Group Booking” add-on at the same time, and after installing it, there is no reference to this anywhere in the panels. Exactly how can this be used?

Apologies, but we have had a very difficult time finding any useful documentation on either of these add-ons that would allow us to troubleshoot these issues on our own.

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hello,

Please send us an email to [email protected] with this inquiry, ticket number #86093, the purchase code as well as access to the admin panel so we could look into this matter.
Regarding the question on Group Booking: please, make sure you have activated the add-on and then go to Bookly Settings > Group Booking tab shall appear.

Thanks!

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hi,

Thanks for clarifying, and apologize for the confusion.

And sorry for the delayed reply, we were unable to answer you in a timely manner due to the high volume of requests at the moment. We appreciate your patience.

After you’ve added a package in the back-end: http://joxi.net/823VwdbcJRzgOm, the customer will then have to log in as a user to your website so they can see the package services you’ve added for them in the back-end.

Once logged in, they will have the option to schedule the services accordingly by 1.) clicking on the calendar icon: http://joxi.net/V2VjMbaCxjBea2, then 2.) the option to select a date and time would appear for the customer: http://joxi.net/bmojNEkCxJOQ8r.

If you need further assistance, please send us an email with this inquiry and the purchase code using the ticket number 92205 at [email protected]

Many thanks,
Richel

Rachel, i asked you about timezone not just time. Why its so difficult for you to answer that? I know that calendar icon and time slots are there but where the hell is the timezone selection field?

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hi,

I apologize for the misunderstanding!

Currently, this functionality is not supported, there’s no option to select a time zone when an appointment from the package is being booked.

Dear Ladela,

You know from my username that I am a fan of Bookly, altogether it is a great tool to make appointments easily and quickly. I do believe, that Bookly is the most advanced plugin with booking capabilities on the market now. You also probably see that I have already bought almost all of your addons so far and I have a great deal of experience with Bookly. However, I don’t understand why you don’t improve packages addon. You roll out new addons, you improve other function and in spite of the fact that several customers have asked you to improve packages, nothing happens here. Also, I’m waiting for packages addon to be a real usable addon but this time, it is close to useless for most people out there. Now it is impossible for customers to buy packages on frontend and it is impossible for customers to book appointments in the package on frontend. Really? It could be one of your best selling addons but for some reason, you don’t do anything about it. With this message I am kindly asking you to take this more seriously, if you take one piece of advice from a regular customer who has been with you for some time. Btw, I’m a potential packages-addon buyer, but not before it is a usable one. So keep it up, you can do it. Best regards

Hello,

Hi,

We are using the Bookly Pro plugin along with the Bookly Packages Add-On on a site that we’re developing for a customer.

I have set the Minimum time requirement prior to booking and Minimum time requirement prior to cancelling both to 1 day as per the customers request.

However, when using the shortcode [bookly-packages-list] in the customer dashboard they are able to book and cancel appointments within the 24 hour period, bypassing the values set above.

Can you help?

Thanks, Rob

You write: “Important: At this time, Bookly doesn’t support booking of packages by your customers on the front-end. This feature will be available in one of our future releases (with add-on price increase).”

Is there a roadmap WHEN will the updated Bookly packages add-on be released? I am eagerly waiting for Bookly packages version where customers can book their packages from the front-end. In its current format it is of no use for us.

Hi ,

I want to sell packages that require two different staff members. So if the client books in for both hair and make up it’s a cheaper package price but they need to book in both the hairstylist and make up artist. Is this possible with the plugin please? Thanks so much

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out.

Packages add-on doesn’t support several services and providers integration.

Please, check Bookly Chain Appointments add-on, it may suit your needs: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/210316865-Chain-Appointments-Add-on

Hi, with this add-on, can I offer a package with multiple services, for example, a package with 3 x yoga group classes, 1 x massage session and 1x yoga private class, or I would have to buy the Compound Service Add-on as well to make that possible? Thanks

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out.

The Packages Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003045634-Packages-Add-on is designed to be able to offer a bundle of offers for the same service.

Whereas, Compound Services Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001642033-Compound-Services-Add-on allows you to combine different types of existing services that your clients can book as one.

With the requirement you’ve described, you would need the Compound Services Add-on.

Please check our demos and sandbox: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo-list/ to discern if Bookly fits your business needs.

Many thanks,

Richel

Hello! I have been using bookly pro for years and today I purchased several of the addons, including recurring appointments. I had hoped to purchased the packages addon as well. but I am skeptical about how functional it is based on the comments I am seeing in this thread. So before I buy it, please let me know if it can handle the following:

I teach classes. I have 4 classes per day at 4 different times and I can allow 4 different kids per class. I need the option to allow students to schedule and pay for 1 month of classes (1 class per week totaling 4 classes), AND for the student to be charged monthly for the 4 classes. I also need for the scheduled classes to show on my calender appropriately so that when I open the calendar, I know who is suppose to be in class on any given day.

Initally I thought I would use the recurring payments to handled the monthly billing part, but after configuring the plugin, it appears that a student can only choose 1 class and then be billed for it once per week instead of choosing a class time and being billed for it monthly. Otherwise I have to set the plugin to book monthly, but that will not schedule the 4 different classes, it will only schedule one class on my calendar. If that happens, notification reminders can’t be sent and I have no record on my calendar of who is schedule and on what days.

Additionaly, I thought I would use the packages addon to assign 4 weekly classes that would be billed once per month, but now I see that the Recurring addon does not work with group appointments AND that customers cannot book packages on the frontend.

Now I feel defeated and I am super frustrated. I feel like I may have purchased the addons in vain today.

These functions are available in woocommerce bookings, bookings addons, together with the subscription addon, but I really wanted to use Bookly Pro and your addons since I already have it installed on my site.. Any advice on how can I accomplish this?

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Recurring Appointments Add-on allows students to schedule and pay for 1 month of classes (the whole series of classes). You can set up this add-on to get the payment from students for the whole series of booked classes: http://prntscr.com/o2xd0b . The scheduled classes will be shown on your calendar appropriately.

If you have Bookly Group Booking add-on installed and activated, in Settings > Recurring Appointments > Group Appointments, you can choose whether your students can join group bookings when scheduling a series of recurring bookings: http://prntscr.com/o2xf5n

Also, I would like to let you know that we have 15 days money back guarantee policy. Which means if you are not satisfied with the purchased add-on you can get a refund within 15 days after the purchase.

Thanks!

Thanks Vlad,

With what you described, are users able to do all of this from the frontend? I don’t want anyone in the admin daahboard at all?

Additionally, I understand that the user can be set up to pay for all classes in the series, however I am confused regarding it reocurring. Does this plugin allow for the user to be auto-billed each month for the same series ( time and days) that they requested in the first month? This will alow my students to be auto booked for their same class schedule month after month.

I need to work like a subscription.

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

The users will be able to do all of this from the front end.

I’m afraid it is not possible for auto re-bill option with Recurring Appointments Add-on. We do not have a subscription feature.

In this case your students will need to book appointments manually.

Thanks!

VMP2015

Dear support,

Question 1: Does your package addon now support front end? So that the clients can book themself?

Or can it only be done via the back end by the admin?

Question 2 (Package plug in question) When a single package is selected (13 amount) the client gets 13 emails. How can this be changed so that the client only gets 1 email about the package deal?

Hope to hear from you soon, best regards.

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

1) Packages add-on doesn’t support frontend. You can create apckages via your admin panel and provide your clients with the access to the package option with the help of [bookly-packages-list] shortcode. Please, follow this link to check the detailed description of the add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003045634-Packages-Add-on

2) You will need to create Combined notification for the approved appointments: http://prntscr.com/oyowz8

Dear Kate,

Thanks for your reply.

Another question.

It seems like something is not going right (with bookly):

The one booking the service also gets the admin mail with the following text:

‘Bright shiny day to you!!’ ‘Reservation pending your approval’ ‘The next booking is pending your approval.’

This is only intended for the admin & back end users right?

We have tried purchasing the service from front end (as clients) via another mails. But all of them also get the mail which is intended for the admin.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks in advance. V. Peters

Hi Guys, when is the development of this plugin going to continue? The way it looks like now, is that development stopped 2 years ago, with a message that this feature will be available in one of our future releases. Another shoutout to continue development on this plugin. To be honest I don’t even need the option to get customers book from the frontend, but I would like to be able to directly book an appointment and link a package directly from the calendar. We have thousands of customers and hundreds of packages. It is not doable to manually keep track of the customers that have a package and then first go to the packages screen to search the customer and book an appointment from there.

Once a customer has been allocated a package e.g. 10xhair cuts will they… 1.) be able to see this when they log in to the customer cabinet and 2) be able to change any of the allocated times set for them?

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

If you mean that your customers should be able to see the appointments in the fronted, you need to use [bookly-packages-list] shortcode on your webpage. After a customer is logged in, they’ll see a list of purchased packages with expiration date, details, and ability to schedule appointments.

Thanks!
