I’m noticing that my row separator acts differently over my slider from revolution slider. I don’t know css to adjust it to look properly on both computer and mobile/tablet…. I can move it to look good on the computer, but then it visually hovers higher on mobile.

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! If you don’t mind, can you give us a sample with the problem? This way, we can check and see if we could add a Custom CSS to make it look better. Thanks!

whats the best way to give you a sample?

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! Sending us a sample page (you can create a new page and replicate the issue in there) will do on this one. Even though we can’t see the separator properly from the page, it should still show up via browser inspector as long as you add it through the backend.

Many of the effects do not span the full width of the page in IE 11. Even on the demo site for the plugin. Has anybody found a remedy for this?

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! We’re sorry about that, we just saw that waves and clouds aren’t going full-width in IE11. We’ll have our developers check the separators again and see which of them needs the fixes.

Pre-purchase question. Can you use the parallax effect in conjunction with the dividers (ie: the background image or gradient or video scrolls behind the divider slightly as you scroll down the site?) I’m wanting to add that little bit of movement as opposed to just have a static divider below/above a stationary image. I’ve tired playing around in the sandbox demo but can’t seem to get it to work, may just be a user error on my end but wanted to be sure before I purchased.

Never mind! It appears the pop up “buy now” overlay and “launch demo menu bar” on the live preview page were causing the parallax effect to not function.

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

I’m sorry about that. Sometimes the pop-up may have random behavior. I’ll let our developers look through this problem. We also advise to always check the demo without the overlay for the best results.

Also, do you mean by layering parallax with video and other backgrounds? If this what you mean, then yes it’s possible. Please note that the background that goes at the front should be placed on the top area of the row. Except for gradient background and color background, it will always stay at the back.

Down arrow edges look Jagged in Chrome:

Here is an example of what I am seeing:

Also, Can you clean up the builder block UI, it looks pretty shabby. This matters because I have to show the client and hand over the admin when I’m done.

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! Thanks for sending us your screenshot! This problem usually happens when you changed the height scale for the Row Separator settings other than 1, this is more likely related to how Chrome renders CSS Transforms. Please try changing your height scale back to 1 and let us know if the jagged line disappears.

Pre-Sales question: When I played with the demo, I noticed that I am unable to get rid of the light colored lines even when using the “Separator Offset”. For example, if I used the “Arrow Up (Decor #2)” and used black for both lines (because of using a black background image), it would show light colored lined in-between. Is there a way to avoid that?

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! We just updated the Row Separator with fixes for the said gaps in the styles. Please check the demos again. We’ll also update the plugin really soon.

If you decide to purchase the plugin before the update, you may also send us a ticket via so we can send you the updated copy in advance.

Demo not working

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hello there! Can you tell us which button you’ve clicked for the demo and what browser you’re using? We checked our demos and it’s working in our end. Can you also try checking our demo again here? Thanks!

Sorry for not being specific. It’s only happening when clicking on the preview button on CodeCanyon – looks like an issue with the double iFrame perhaps? (Chrome) –

- AJ

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Thanks for the specific details, AJ! We managed to replicate the problem in Chrome. As we checked further, this is more of an issue with the Code Canyon Preview frame and not with the plugin. I’ll forward this issue to our developers. In the meantime, please view our demo site from the link we provided.

Hey guys, just purchased this but the row options are not showing when I go to the row settings using Bridge theme with visual composer. The option for any of the seperators is not there at all.

*EDIT* Please disregard, as I’ve found out how to get it functioning. Thanks!

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Thanks for the follow up! Just for reference, Row Separators is a separate element that you can add inside a row.

Please let us know again if you have any questions.

Hey, I am having difficulty getting the wave to look right, like in the demo. I am trying to do it on top of a video in a row, but it is separating the divider and the video. It is appearing underneath the video instead of cropping on top of it.

Same happening with an image. It is working with a solid color background though. I went to submit a support ticket but purchase code was invalid.

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! We’re sorry about that, normally the purchase code should work in the support site. In the meantime, you may also send us an e-mail via [email protected] (please remove the dashes) so we can help you from there.

Also, about the problem, do you mean that you want the Row Separator to appear on top on your video when it overlaps? If you can provide us some samples to the problem, this will help us understand the problem further and provide you a CSS that will work for your page.

adding custom SVG – help! Any tutorials?

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! The Custom SVG field from the plugin settings included a quick guide on how to add your Custom SVG. This also includes a couple of samples that you can try:

We also have a documentation for Row Separators available here:

That aside, I think that the other tutorials that you may need is to look for Adobe Illustrator or Ink Scape tutorial for creating SVG files.

How to add z-index to separator to overlap image over the separator?

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

You can add an Extra Class Name via Row Settings and use it as a class along with vc_row class. Here’s an example:

.custom-class .vc_row { position: relative !important; z-index: 999; }

This will move your row forward. But you can adjust it into negative increments if you want to move it backward.

Make sure that the image and Row Separator are in different rows so the image will overlap the separator.

Please note that depending on your theme, you may or may not have to change the position. The amount of z-index needed also depends on your theme. Some themes may impose a higher amount of z-index to their styling.

Hi, Having the exact same issue as @nketola, the devider is appearing underneath the video instead of cropping on top of it. You can see here on the header :

Any solution? Tried to open a ticket but no answer

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! Do you still need help with the Row Separator? We checked on it and it seemed that the separator is now overlapping the video. If you’re also familiar with Custom CSS, it’s possible to manipulate the layer ordering of your video and row separator through z-index.

Please let me know how it goes.

Hi, this plugin doesn’t work correctly with my WP Bakery on Brooklyn theme. I want to get my money back please.

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there, we’re sorry about what you’ve encountered. Can you elaborate us what happened with your separators? Is this a problem with the installation/setting or with the output?

If you want to check through our docs, it’s available here

You can also send us a sample page if you don’t mind. If you can show us the problem, then we can help you resolving it.

Hi, this plugin doesn’t work correctly for me either with WP Bakery on Brooklyn theme. Please advise.

Gambit-Alyssa Author Team

Hi there! Can you tell us more about what happened? Is this a problem with the settings in the backend or with the output in the frontend? Do you have any sample of how it looks like?

Normally, when we encounter problem like this, here’s what we do:

1. If the separator color doesn’t copy the row color from your theme, we use the Main Separator Fill Color to pick a color similar to your row.

2. We check if there’s a specific plugin that’s causing the issue by temporarily deactivating them. If you found a possible cause, please let us know and send us a copy via support so we can check it out.

3. Check your site for JS errors. Sometimes this causes plugins to stop working. You can do so by triggering the issue with the separator and pressing F12. In your browser console, go to Console tab and see if there’s any error. Hovering on the right side will prompt the plugin where the error possibly came from.

If you don’t mind, you can also contact us via support and provide us with the site URL and login (with access to plugins and editor) where we can test out the issue. Then we’ll help you out find a solution.

See video at link below. Breaks page layout and adds another scroll bar.

yssagambit Author Team

Hi, Can you give us more details about the problem? Also, kindly send us sample pages or steps on how to replicate the issue. You can email us at [email protected] so we can assist you better. Thanks!

Did you watch the video at the link below? This happens when trying to add any row separator.

yssagambit Author Team

Hi! Yes, we saw the video, but we need more details on how you’ve encountered the problem, so we can replicate this on our end. It would be best if we can get your site URL or a sample page to investigate this further. Please email us at [email protected] so we can assist you better. Thanks!

Hi, Iam having an issue. This one cannot be used with the revolution slider.

yssagambit Author Team

Hi! The Revolution Slider should work without any issues with our plugin. Can you provide us more details about what happened? If you have any sample pages, please send us the URL so we can check it out. We will investigate this issue right away.

I am trying to create an overlay over a video like the following screenshot: This is the page I have created:

Is it possible to create the overlay over a video background? If so could you advise?

I have tried submitting a ticket but it says my code is invalid.

Sorry figured it out by putting it on the row below not above.

yssagambit Author Team

Glad to know that the issue has been resolved.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Have a great day ahead!

Is there a page where i can see all the separators? It would be great to have a visual so I can know what each one looks like in the list.

yssagambit Author Team

Yes, we have. Here’s the link to our demo site:

Hi There.

I use this in conjunction with WP Bakery and the Bridge Theme. It works beautifully, however – when I activate page transitions (which I’ve had to do for the current site as it provides a better user experience) – as soon as you navigate to another page – the rows don’t show after the transition has completed.

I believe the transitions are AJAX based, so I’m assuming there is some sort of conflict, but I’m at an impasse.

Any help would be much appreciated.

yssagambit Author Team

Hi, We want to let you know that we’ve already replied to your email.
