Hi, I tried to contact wpclubmanager directly but haven’t received any answer so maybe you help me. I want to use the Fixtures widget to show upcoming games. But it doesn’t show the placeholder bagde or any badge at all, only the image url. But if you click on it the “game page” opens where the placeholder badges are shown. Do you know what the problem might be? Joerg

Sorry, wrong theme. Just delete this comment.

Hi there – First of all, this theme is magnificent. I think you’ve brought together the best beauty and functionality for a magazine theme – it absolutely rocks.

When I view the demo on a mobile device (iPhone & iPad) the homepage slider doesn’t render very well and kind of looks like its not fully responsive. Everything below that looks great.

So – is there an alternative to the current slider that we can use? Or is there some way to just a static block of featured images up there instead of a slider? Or is there something we can do to make the slider more mobile-friendly?

Thanks! Mike

mikegiam

Update – the slider seems to be rendering fine now. Must have been a burp on my end. thx

Hello! I’m absolutely itching to buy this. I was just wondering if the theme supports newsletter subscription/updates? Because I didn’t see that in the live preview.

tochicat

Okay never mind I just spotted that it supports mailpoet. Thank you!

Is there a way to set the preview images on the home page to all the same height? I’m using Small Grid layout which gives me 2 columns like I want, but images don’t line up because they’re not all the same height on the home page. How can I just say “All the preview/header images on the home page will be set XXX pixels high”?

themeous Author

Hi! Thank you for your purchase. Most probably you need to regenerate thumbnails with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ if you have uploaded images before the theme activation. Image height is limited for the Grid layout, and full height images are used for Masonry layout.

Hi!

I really like this theme and want to purchase it, but there is one thing I was wondering about. Does the theme have an option to, at the bottom of each full post, display thumbnails of other posts that might interest a user? Such as for “Further Reading” or “You Might Also Like.” If not, I’m assuming I would have to download a widget?

Thanks so much!

themeous Author

HI! Yes, you can use Flexible Posts Widget plugin to display posts from any category you like, also you can display posts based on tags, etc. Airy theme provides a lot of templates for this plugin, and there is a widgetized area after post content.

Hi! I’m loving the theme but I can’t seem to figure out the sticky sidebar . I can’t see it even though I activated sticky sidebar under Site Identity. How do I activate/find/edit the sticky sidebar on the homepage?

Hi! I’m back I lost my blog for a while. Now my question is how do I change the thickness of the body font? It’s so thin no matter what I change it to and I’m worried about the readability and would like to increase it.

Hi! Try to add this style in custom CSS body { font-weight: 400; }

I am not very skilled with Wordpress and I have been having difficulty with this theme. If I bring ay of the homepages up in the WP customize section, nothing appears. If I bring it up in Thrive, I can see it but not work on it. I would like to have access to change the pictures and the copy as well as make each section link to my choice of locations. It’s very pretty but I cannot get it to work aside from looking at it as it is, not how i wish it to be (with my pictures)

As i say, I am not the most technically skilled person and that’s why i am using WP and this template rather than writing code.

Hi!

Homepages in the Airy theme are based on widgets, this theme doesn’t provide a visual page builder. You should edit modular homepage widget area (the number of widget area depends on the page template selected for homepage), you will see Flexible Posts widget blocks in it, you can select different layouts and display posts based on tags, categories, etc. Please watch this short screencast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwSgAJMRHuo

Please let me know if you need any help with this.

Dear themeous-team, I am currently working with your theme and setting up the contents. However, in behalf of accessibility, I can’t seem to find a way to have my alt-tags displayed when images are turned off. Is there an easy fix? Thank you in adavance Regards

By default in WordPress when you upload the image, the title is created for it, but not the alt attribute. The alt field is usually empty and you should enter the text in it manually when you insert the image, or if the image is already inserted, you may click on the image and edit its attributes. Please see the screenshot http://take.ms/b2Mmg

This plugin would be helpful to automate the process https://wordpress.org/plugins/automatic-image-alt-attributes/

Thank you for your fast reply. However, this is not the solution to my problem. Alt-tags are filled. When turning the images off, the information of the alt-tag can be found in the code, but is not displayed in the post itself.

I suppose this issue is related to Safari, in Chrome it works properly. Discussion of this issue https://discussions.apple.com/thread/515560

Hello Themeous, I like this theme very much. Is Airy still maintained? I have purchased Maxi recently and began to layout a club monthly magazine. By appearances, Airy is less dense and very appealing for a newsletter with limited content. I am new to Wordpress and it seems like Airy is easier to work with, especially with the helpful videos. I may want to purchase this one to experiment with unless Maxi is capable of duplicating what that theme offers. Thank you, tags

themeous Author

Hi! Thank you for your purchase of the Maxi theme. Yes, Airy theme is still maintained and it’s newer than Maxi theme. If you drop me a line to ask(@)themeous.com I may send you the Airy theme, so you can experiment with it before purchase.

Hi Themeous. Thank you very much for the support and providing a copy to evaluate. I decided to purchase it. I hope to adapt our newsletter to this theme with its fresh, light presentation. I can’t emphasize enough how helpful the videos are to a novice. Best regards, tags

Hi there – quick question. How can I remove the category badges that show up on the featured homepage articles? Can you tell me how / where to remove them?

thanks!

themeous Author

Hi! The quickest way is to add this style in Appearance > Customise > Additional CSS section

.media-holder .entry-cat { display: none; }

mikegiam

Thank you! I’m a big fan of your theme and your customer service is spectacular. Great work and please keep it up? – mg

Hi there, We are getting a 500 internal server error on our new website.

Disabling the LA Studio or WPBakery plugin seems to fix the issue. However, causes the site layout to break due to the shortcodes missing.

Manually updating WPBakery does not fix the issue either.

We have downloaded through Envato Elements.

Thank you for looking into this. Much appreciated.

themeous Author

Hi! Sorry for the delayed reply, I haven’t seen your comment. Our theme never was available via Envato Elements and doesn’t use WPBakery plugin, probably you use another theme with the similar name.
