Hello, i connected a google calendar and set Bookly to Two-Way-Sync. New events in Bookly appear instantly in google, but new events in google don’t appear in Bookly unless a sync is manually triggered. Based on the description i expect new events in google calendar to appear in bookly quickly too. How can i fix this?

Hello there, I have been using bookly for a while now and for the first two years everything has been going great. However since the first round of major upgrades the plugin has failed on me to the point that I have lost clients and sales. I have worked with my web developer and it seems we can never get the plugin to work anywhere like it did before. We have done a complete overhauled of the site in the hope it would fix the issues however we are still getting synching issues, appointments not showing up in the google calender or via email as well as appointments are being made online when they should be blocked.

Hi, I have set Google API’s settings but there is an error.

Error calling POST https://www.googleapis.com/calendar/v3/calendars/misteryescape%40gmail.com/events/watch: (401) Unauthorized WebHook callback channel: https://misteryescape.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=bookly_advanced_google_calendar_push_notifications

When I post an event on Google Calendar, bookly is not updated, can it depend on this error?

Thanks

Hey There,

I received a message back from someone called Kate, I asked if there was a way to customise the ics files that can be attached to your email notifications. I’d like to be able to populate the location of the appointment in calendars.

Thanks Fishgate

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

I’m afraid such option is not supported. You can leave your request here: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/boards/feature-requests and if it gets enough votes, it might be implemented in the future release.

Thanks!
Kate

Can you please confirm that “Automatically sync all calendar data and any updates between two calendars” is actually working. I saw a comment above that “new events in google don’t appear in Bookly unless a sync is manually triggered”.

So please confirm – is the Google->Bookly sync manual or automatic?

Best regards!

Bookly-Support Author Team

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out.

Yes, automatic sync all calendar data and any updates between two calendars is working.

If there is an issue (it may be caused by other plugins, caching and so on), our tech department specialists can solve it for you.

Thanks!

when you have the addons Custom field and Custom files activated in Bookly then they get mixed in same line in Google Calendar. Check for yourself when using {custom_fields}, could you please separate them? and add for example {custom_files} instead?

Also getting the unauthorized WebHook callback channel: https://xxxxxxx.se/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=bookly_advanced_google_calendar_push_notifications when syncing Two-way. Checked all documentation and all seems ok from my point of view.
