Isn’t possible to replace it since I need an unique entity. While you can remove it managing “deeplinked elements” in settings

takeleap

I have only one grid and there is no other pages on this website. Can you tell me how to replace it or to remove the grid id and just keep the name of the item.

LCweb Author

Is very complex, you need to re-build the whole deeplinking system in PHP + javascript

Just in case, I describe the bug: http://prntscr.com/lapfp6 Grid item height is not displayed correctly. http://sergeypes.com/design-portfolio/

Hi,
I can give you the answer here: isn’t a bug but your theme adding HTML paragraphs among my code.

Use this custom CSS:

.mg_box p { display: inline; }

Hello,
are you using Media Grid plugin? (this is an addon)

HI, am wondering if there is a way to include overlay on inline text

LCweb Author

Hello,
isn’t possible: inline text is meant to have texts/contents. Then overlay would be useless.

I’ve seen workarounds though: a static image type using an image containing text. If you use a proper PNG, the result could be quite good.

Hello,

on the backend the dropdown menu from ” graphical elements” and “textual elements” is partly covered by the selected items like ‘corner shape’ (graphical) or ‘text block’ (textual).

And it is impossible to select a new item because the “add” button is covered completely.

Furthermore the preview window shows the following error message (erased the home path) :

Warning: Use of undefined constant MGOM_DIR – assumed ‘MGOM_DIR’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ….. /wp-content/plugins/media-grid-overlay-manager/functions.php on line 3

This looks like a very capable addon BUT when I install it there is no presets. I have tried to uninstall and re-install, but still no presets. Is there another way to get the presets?

LCweb Author

Hello,
they should be automatically intalled whenever you activate the add-on. This happens only if you don’t have any overlay created.

Then theoretically you should remove every overlay and disable/enable.

CyberBengt

Thank’s for quick respons. I had one overlay created by me, but when I removed it, just as you say, and disabled/enabled, all the presets were there. Nice!

Hello! Happy to open a support ticket, but didn’t know if this is even possible. Can you set a grid item to display text and have an image as overlay? Like this example: http://tbwachiatdayla.com/#/work (when you scroll down a little)

LCweb Author

Yes, just manage it through the textual layers (bottom part of the builder)

ysdt

I have no idea what I was doing wrong earlier as I was using the textual elements, but got it to work. Sorry for so many questions and thanks for speedy responses. Amazing plugin.
