How do I remove these options from showing as a category to select in the submit form? http://prntscr.com/nueq4w It’s really bugging me, I can’t figure it out. Thanks

Krissieg

Due to frustration, I’ve now made my entries very simple and I’m not going to get the user to add images, custom details as the text and imagery doesn’t appear on a post – only the excerpt and description. However, I would still like to get the user to select a post category (but only out of the categories I want them to see). If you can let me know how to do this, that would be great, then I can at least change the markers as well, to symbolise different categories. Thanks

codespacing Author

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. Please note that all your custom fields will be saved in the database and can be viewed in the administration. To see your custom fields, edit a post and scroll down to the widget “Custom fields”. If you can’t find this widget, click on the link “Screen Options” located in the top right corner of the page and check the option “Custom fields”!

If you have more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Thank you for your patience

kmunet

so theres not a way to auto populate the content with that info or a plugin that take those customfields and autopublish them?

kmunet

I need support i need to be able to show the data collected into the form in the posts

Hi!

I hope you can help me, I misunderstood and bought the extension thinking I needed it in order to created maps with the locations and images like this sample:

https://codespacing.com/wordpress-plugins/submit-locations/

I do not need people submit/add locations to the map from the frontend. I really really hope you can help me with a refund since I just bought it and will not be using it.

codespacing Author

Hi,

Have you already bought the main plugin “Progress Map”?

Thank you

Krissieg

Hi there, despite adding new tabs and custom fields and correctly setting them up to display in a certain order or within a certain tab, the settings won’t update correctly and I don’t understand why. I need your help please. Please get back to me when you’re around as it’s been a while since you’ve been available. Thanks

Hi codespacing, great plugin with much functionality!

Unfortunately, I have some trouble with setting up the “Geolocate your position” button. I had purchased cspm-v.5.0 & cspmsl-v.1.7 which allows the button to appear in 3 areas. (1) In the main map. (2) In the popup window for submitting locations. (3) In cspmsl_form.

(1) Works as expected. After clicking on the button, the map display my current location on an centered position. In (2) and (3) it looks the button just triggers something a href=”#”> Geolocate button /a> because nothing happened expect page-reload.

Maps JavaScript API; Places API; Geolocation API; Geocoding API are activated and connected to WP. Browser permission is always given (it already works in the main map). What am I doing wrong? Could you provide me some advice to fix this issue?

Thanks & best regards.

Progress Map, Submit Locations

Custom fields set up for Submit Location do not show up in post How to solve this problem

codespacing Author

Hi,

This is not a problem at all. The plugin will save you custom fields in the database and connect them to your posts. If you want to see the custom fields when updating a post from the administration, please follow this steps:

1. Edit a post

2. In the top right corner of the screen, click on the button/link “Screen Options”

3. Check the option “Custom fields”

4. Scroll down to see all the custom fields related to your post.

Thank you for your patience

Hello, any thoughts about submit a location based on right click on the map? Like google and waze.

codespacing Author

Hi,

For the meanwhile, this isn’t an option in the plugin but it could be added in a future update.

Thank you

HBSP

What would it cost to get developed? We are open to help fund this feature.

BTW We have bought the bundle, that’s why I’m not listed as PURCHASED here

Hello,

I’ve purchased this plugin and was wondering how to manage following situation : - I’m using category as taxonomy to make different user types - According to the type of user (selected in the submit form) i want the correspondig tag (with same name than the category) shows up and all fields in this tab should be in required mode.

I think their is something to do with JQuery but I don’t have the knowledge for these types of mods.

kamilkus83

Hello,

I would need a assistance with your plugin, the locations are not getting published.
