Hello, I have previously enabled the Visibility Settings and set the Featured Area Settings as well but I do not see my Featured Content appearing on my homepage. This was working before but it suddenly stopped working. I have even inspected the HTML and the entire carousel widget is not being rendered on the homepage. Checking with the quta_has_featured_posts function is not returning any values as well. Can you kindly assist ?

Here is my site: https://www.eightmotoring.sg/

Thanks. This does appear to be related to JetPack plugin somehow. I have disabled and renabled it and it seems to work for now.

UkaThemes Author

Jetack has own Featured Content class. You can go to Customizer > Featured Content and insert tag name for featured posts or add tag “featured” to your posts and Carousel will be displaing.

Thanks !

UkaThemes Author

Please, read paragraphs “Customize”, “How to Set Up Posts Carousel” and “How to Set Up Main Content Layout” in the theme documentation. If you have any questions, ask, I will help.

UkaThemes Author

About share options read paragraph “Developer Share Buttons” in documentation.

JDSTIGER

Why don’t I have the sidebar with ad slot & subscribe & follow?!

UkaThemes Author

Ad slot is a standard WordPress image widget. About subscribe & follow read paragraph “Developer Share Buttons” in documentation.

And “Contact Form 7” paragraph.

Hello, we are trying to set up my website / blog with “wpbeginner”. We are using the Home Style 2. We assigned the featured image layout to the posts, but they are not displaying properly. There is an error. see the screenshot: http://cloud.supportally.com/3q2T1h3J0U09 We need your answer today please. Please tell us what we have to do, thank you.

Hi again, — this is a follow up message. (see previous request above) I also purchased this theme last week because it’s so beautiful. I love the Home Style 2 and also would like to give my website / blog the identical look. Unfortunately we can’t even get the header area showing any content. So there is no header showing my featured posts. And this is actually one of the features which I really liked on your theme. I have asked my hosting support if they know how to help and they suggest that I ask you.

UkaThemes Author

Hello!

I saw your letters, but from the second letter I concluded that the problem is solved.

Okay, I’ll see what it is and try to help. Do I understand correctly that you set up the theme to wordpress.org?

UkaThemes Author

I’ve updated the theme. Download the new version and see if there is an error on it.

vabauudised

Unable to setup homepage. Empty page instead of proper content!!!

UkaThemes Author

Please read the documentation first. If after reading it you still do not get something, please describe the problem in more detail.

vabauudised

Thank you. Already figured out. Actually documentation isn’t clear enough!

UkaThemes Author

Could you please tell me what points in the documentation you thought were not clear enough to take into account in the future?

vabauudised

How to get rid of “Read me” links on blog list?

I read through the documentation and have installed and activated the theme onto my wordpress website. Is there a way to directly copy the Quta Home Layout 2 onto my website? I want my website to have the exact same layout as the Home Layout 2.

UkaThemes Author

Hi!

To set up layout like on Home 2 you have to:

1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Featured Area Settings and select “Full Width Posts Carousel”.

2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Content Area Settings and select “Three Columns Layout with Large Items without Sidebar”.

How to add posts to Featured Area read in theme documentation – Theme Installation > How to Set Up Featured Content.

how to change font style from google font ?

UkaThemes Author

Hi!

1. Open file functions.php and edit 332-355 lines. 2. Open file style.css and insert your fonts in line 64 and line 91.

Or use one of the third-party plugins for this purpose – https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/google+fonts/

Hi there,

I have just bought and installed your quta theme, which I really like. However, when I view the blog layout with two columns on my iPad and iPhone they only display as one column. The layout when viewed through the backend shows the iPad display get two columns.

Am I missing something? Should the iPad display two columns or not?

Many thanks

Kind regards Giles

...and its version?

UkaThemes Author

Theme used CSS Grid Layout and CSS Variables, therefore it may not display correctly in some browsers. Supported browsers can be viewed at the following links: CSS Grid Layout, CSS Variables.

Hey,

Is there a way to change the default page template selection? For example, i want to use “full width featured” instead of the “standard template” and i don’t want to set this in every new page.

Thanks

UkaThemes Author

Hi!

Without editing themes do not do this.

11cis

I know how to edit themes. Where can i change this option?

UkaThemes Author

This is not an option, these are page and post templates – https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/template-files-section/page-template-files/ .

Theme has default post template (single.php) and other page templates (folder page-templates). In order to change the default template you need to overwrite the single file.php. You must also change the conditions for displaying featured content in the header file.php.

Drogo2005

Ciao! I’m interested in the theme “Quta”. I wanted to know if it is possible in the post page to insert an extract (summary). Thank you. Giorgio (from Verona, Italy)

UkaThemes Author

Hi! Yes, it is possible.

Drogo2005

... if I can give advice (I’m a journalist) it’s very important for a professional theme to see on the home page the signature of who wrote the post. The date on the home page is less important. And then the signature must be seen in the post near the date. The date is also important in the post. Sorry if I allowed myself but I think it is useful for sale, knowing journalists. Hello and thanks. George

UkaThemes Author

Thank you for your advice, I will consider it in the future.

But here it is necessary to take into account one author adds entries to the blog or several authors. If the blog belongs to one author, in my opinion, it is not necessary for each entry to display his signature.

wocMarketing

I can’t seem to set the amount of posts on the homepage. The theme always shows 7 posts, no matter what I choose.

UkaThemes Author

Do you use any third-party plugins? Maybe one of them is causing conflict. Try to turn them off.

JDSTIGER

I enabled “safe svg” plugin to upload site logo as an SVG but it does not show up on the actual site, how can I fix this?

UkaThemes Author

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Site Identity and set up your logo.

Note: your logo should be no more than 200px wide and 40px tall.

malymarty

Hi, I have one pre-purchase question. Will you update this template for Wordpress 5? Thanks for reply. Marty

UkaThemes Author

Hi!

With WordPress 5 theme works, only there is no support for Gutenberg. Adding Gutenberg support to my plans is not included, alas.

power_station

Hi, I used quta theme.Try my best to hide or disable the authors name link of every post in Wordpress, for example, this post https://www.bestpowerstation.com/best-generator-for-rv/ author ‘Chard’ URL is https://www.bestpowerstation.com/, I want to hide the author or disable the link. I edited the file single.php <?php the_author_posts_link(); ?>, but it is strill exist. I do not like install plugin, how to do that? Thanks.

UkaThemes Author

Hi!

You need to edit file qutainctemplate-tags.php in line 61 to disable link. Or you can delete lines 59-63 to hide author.

If you are using a child theme you can copy all function quta_entry_footer to child theme and edit it there.

nataliehuga

Hi, my woocommerce version is 3.8.1, I am using the Gutenberg editor and might require elementor to make some changes to the overall theme. Do you have a timing by which Quta would be updated/compatible with all three requirement (woocommerce version, gutenberg compatible and elementor friendly)?

UkaThemes Author

Hi! Alas, such improvements are not planned.
