The theme is flexible but for the aspect of the theme you need to use CSS code (font color, font size, margins, etc). Hi

I’m looking to purchase this theme for a magazine/blog that I wish to start. I was just wondering the following:

1) Can the position of the Ad be changed? Also, can there be more than 1 Ad on the pages?

2) Can I add a Twitter and Insta realtime widget on the homepage?

Hi,

1. That AD is just an example. And it is only an image (I’m using the default WP text widget). You have a sidebar (left or right) and you can insert unlimited widgets there.

2. Yes, in that sidebar. The theme doesn’t include a Twitter or Instagram widget. But you can install an external plugin (search on wordpress.org).

Awesome theme! Just a minor suggestion; a lot of people use Bloglovin’ to follow blogs. Would be great if that was also an option in the social icons widget.

Unfortunately Font Awesome (the font icon set used by the theme) doesn’t include Bloglovin’. You can leave a “+1” here: https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/issues/2334

I just bought this theme. some quick questions: 1) how to change a slider? I couldn’t find it. 2) can I change the length of content shown(the grey color texts under a title) under <handpicked stories>?

Hi,

1. To change the slider edit some posts and check “Use for slider in homepage?” under the “Post Settings”area. If course, the slider must be enabled in Customize > Front Page Settings > Slider > “Show slider”.

2. That’s the post excerpt. Edit the post and write a custom excerpt. If you don’t see that option below the WP editor, be sure that “Excerpt” is checked in Screen Options (top-right of the page).

I purchased the theme and it looks fantastic.

I am however facing one small issue. In the Homepage slider, I can’t get the Post description to change for the slider.

I have completely changed the content of the post and the photos, etc. but the homepage slider is still displaying the sample description – Sing, o goddess ….

Please help

I purchased the theme and am completely loving it. I however want to do 2 things, which I’m not able to figure out how to: 1) Creating a Newsletter Signup form on the right sidebar (Homepage and Post Pages) 2) Creating a popup Newsletter subscription form

1. Just drag the “Marlene – Newsletter” widget to the sidebar in Appearance > Widgets.

2. The theme doesn’t include a popup. You need to install an external plugin.
