Hello I downloaded the plug, and translated it into Spanish to integrate it with the rest of those I have, I sent you an email and the translation, but to my surprise although I have uploaded and placed both in the folder of admin and language the plug does not appear in Spanish appears in English …

The coding is correct pcfm_ml-es_ES that may be happening?

Hello Alejandro, I’m replying to your e-mail

Hi, Before buying I want to know: 1. Can I assign one folder per user and that only the user can see its contents and not the others? 2. Can I give permissions so that users can only download the files but not upload? 3. Can I use profiles for certain users, for example, that some may upload files?

Thank you

LCweb Author

Hello,

1- you can directly upload files into the user dashboard: those files will be exclusively reachable by that user

2- sure, you will just display admin-uploaded files

3- you can restrict forms to be visible only by targeted user categories

leomedallo

Can users download a complete folder so they don’t have to download file by file? Thanks

LCweb Author

This isn’t possible actually, but surely a good suggestion for future improvements

leomedallo

Hello, If there are 50 files in a folder, should the user download each file one by one?

LCweb Author

(Actually) yes

leomedallo

Hello, Can users be restricted from deleting or uploading files? Thanks

LCweb Author

Just avoid showing the the upload form to users. They will just be able to download them

borisjer

How to remove this “Uploads prevented for WordPress users in custom forms”? I want to have logged in users to submit files.

LCweb Author

Hello,
it obviously refers to WP users: they must use the admin-side uploader

leomedallo

To finish with the questions, 1. Is there an option for users to only download the files? 2. Can you disable users from deleting or uploading files? 3. Can the administrator upload files to users’ folders and allow them to download them? thanks

LCweb Author

1- Yes

2- yes

3- yes

You have full control over what users can or can’t do

leomedallo

This add-on does not allow to show folders or subfolders in the front-end I have already tried it.

LCweb Author

Please stop spamming or I will have to report you to Envato.

I already explained it isn’t a view included in the plugin (as shown in the demo), but we can develop it.

Hi, is it possibile to upload files with public link? I mean, is it possibile to set some files as “public”, so if you know the URL link you can see the file with no need to login to the restricted area?

LCweb Author

What do you mean by “twice”? If a file is globally available, it doesn’t have to be restricted

kre13

The restricted area will be used as file storage, therefore all logged users should find all documents there. If I have some “open” documents (for example catalogues), I have to insert these files the first time in the folder “catalogues” of the restricted area (so logged user can see them in the folder “catalogues”), but also in the media gallery (this for not-logged users). Am I right? Or maybe I’m complicating something simple?

LCweb Author

Yes is correct: the add-on is designed to server files uniquely to logged users

Ciao!
