hello. please i want to ask a question. 1. if a user is logged in 2. user selects options or fills data into a form

can i get the users profile data and entries in the contact entries area ( name, phone number and email) as csv in the backend?

if yes, please how do i achieve this?

feeling4design Author

Yes, you can go to contact entries, then you can select the entry, then hit “Export to CSV” button. Then you can select the fields you wish to export. However, you must understand that the exported file will be the ID of the file and not the URL of the file. (if I remember correctly).

Yes, the video will be stored in your Media library, and can be accessed/viewed via Contact Entries. And also in the emails

Is it possible to force people to use characters and numbers when creating a password? If yes, how do I do this?

Hi. I have few questions. 1. Is this plugin compatible with Youzer plugin (https://codecanyon.net/item/youzer-new-wordpress-user-profiles-era/19716647)? 2. Is it possible to style the plugin for i.e change the font, add shadows to the registration fields, change the border colour etc. 3. Is it possible to integrate it with buddypress, Youzer account so that user register and upload his/her profile photo using your form and it will be automatically displayed within the user profile?

thank you

feeling4design Author

Hi, the only thing it does is register user with custom user meta. We didn’t test it with the plugins you named. So I can not say if it is or not. sorry. Regarding field, you can change the border color and font color yes. You can also change font to a google font if you need to. And change font size.

Hi just a quick pre-sale question…I would like to have a login form on our new site which points the user to our fleet support site once they have entered their username and password…see the current form here..top left: https://www.adeptvehicle.com

the developer wants us to again point users this url…http://my.fleetcheck.co.uk/partnerlogin.aspx?u=username&p=password&i=www.yourdomain.com%2fincorrectpassword.htm

There is another url for us handling forgotten passwords too..Can your plugin accommodate this? Look forward to hearing from you.

??

feeling4design Author

Hi, yes it can do that. I would suggest setting up a variable field (Hidden field) which will handle the correct URL. so you can retrieve the username and password from the input fields. And update the variable field with tags like so:

http://my.fleetcheck.co.uk/partnerlogin.aspx?u={username}&p={password}&i=www.yourdomain.com%2fincorrectpassword.htm

Then use the variable field tag inside the form settings to redirect to custom URL.

Hi there, where can I modify this error message “ERROR: The password you entered for the username is incorrect. ” – problem is it provides a link to “wp-login.php?action=lostpassword” to reset the password and I want to update the link to lead to the frontend superforms lost password page.

feeling4design Author

Hi, it means the password is incorrect. Regarding the link to lost password, I think you can only change this via wordpress, this is a message that wordpress returns. I will note it for now and see if this can be improved in the near future.

I’m trying to set users status as “Pending” after registration. The “Thank You” email is sent, but once the account is set to “Active” the confirmation login email is NOT sent.

feeling4design Author

Hi, are you sending an “Admin email”? is it enabled? if not please enable it and check this FAQ for email related issues, this setting must be enabled because the “Aprove email” grabs the required information such as “From:” and other headers defined under that section. Hope this helps solve your problem.

can I make form only for registered user with this add on?

feeling4design Author

You mean to lock out none logged out users from submitting the form? In that case you will want/need this add-on instead: https://codecanyon.net/item/frontend-register-login/14403267

Hi,

How to disable unsecure password functionnality ?

Thank you

feeling4design Author

Hi, I guess you are referring to passwords being send to the email? This can be turned of by changing the setting of the field so that it is excluded from all emails. Hope this helps.

Hi, I have the following problems:

1) I want new users to choose their user role, with a dropdown, I tried to do it with slugs, but I can’t.

2) When the confirmation email arrives, I click and it tells me that the page was not found.

3) The confirmation email arrives as “Spam”

samtiromero

point 1 I could solve it …

4) How do I add a confirmation password to the form?

feeling4design Author

Hi,

1) yes you should use slugs as the value of each dropdown option

2) the page must be created, if you haven’t yet created it.

3) that’s something you can solve by either making sure that the “From” header is set properly or use a SMTP plugin, that the email is put into spam has nothing to do by super forms system itself, it’s only either configuration setting, the content of the email or a other factor. Super Forms sends mail via the wp_mail() function which is the function used by wordpress. Not really much to say about this.

4) You can find an example form under Super Forms > Marketplace, it is called “Register Form (Add-on)” it uses the confirm password method.

Hi i would like to use this extra for register new users. I would like to use only email and password to register.

but the system returns me this

We couldn’t find the user_login and user_email fields which are required in order to register a new user. Please your form and try again

I dont want to use the user_login field. How could i skip it? Also how get the value from another field i have?

For example i type my email and i want to make a hidden field which will take the email i added.

Thanks

feeling4design Author

You can’t skip those fields, because wordpress requires these to create an account, if you create a user within the dashboard you also require to fill out those fields. If you really only want the user to fill out email address and still create an account just add a hidden field and make it a variable so it grabs the value from email field. Just make sure to name the hidden field “user_login”. Info about variable fields here: https://renstillmann.github.io/super-forms/#/variable-fields

chaosm

Thanks for your reply. I added this but doesnt work. The instructions aren’t clear. “add a hidden field and make it a variable so it grabs the value from email field” Where i add the tag {user_email}. Thanks

Is it possible to use the username rather than the email address with the lost password form (or ideally have a field that will take either)? In the example it seems to only take an email address.

feeling4design Author

Hi good question, i have looked at the code, but at the moment it only looks up users by email address and not their username. I will note it as future improvement for now. Thanks
